Joseph Smith

Joseph and Rhonda came to New Hope in the Summer of 2022 after filling in each Sunday for almost a year. Their life is dedicated to loving God and loving others. They have 4 children and 3 “perfect” grandchildren! They enjoy anything that involves their family and discipling them to live a life completely surrendered to God, His purpose, plan, and will for their lives. Joseph’s passion is to worship His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, first and foremost, and to lead the church in sincere worship! Romans 8:38-39 is the message he feels ignites worship. When God’s children fully grasp these truths, they will worship like never before! Joseph has been in music ministry most of his life. He sung with The Booth Brothers, Gaither Homecoming Tour, and The Mark Trammell Quartet for 15 years. He majored in Music at the University of Montevallo and teaches voice and piano at the church. He loves seeing people,

young and old, use their talents to serve God and to worship Him!
